You can use that loss of HP to sometimes get by in races with certain HP restrictions though so the slider is useful on occasion. Junior Revhead Hi-Vis Kids Polo - Personalise with name ad vertisement by StitchnCreate Ad vertisement from shop StitchnCreate StitchnCreate From shop StitchnCreate. It gives max HP in the center and less HP as you get farther away regardless of direction. I've done that a couple of times and it does work but like you said there's no performance gains from advancing or retarding the timing. It's easier than putting stock parts back on until you're under 500hp(or any HP limit needed). If you need to be under 500hp to enter a race and you're over that by a small amount, you can adjust the slider away from center and sometimes get under 500hp without replacing anything on the engine or changing the engine itself. We are planning to have a more advanced way to tune /tweak timings, so you can alter to make the engine perform better in higher or lower rpm, but for now it is only 'set it to the middle' :PĪctually there is a reason to move it but not for what the OP described. It will slowly drifting away from perfect position and eventually will cause loose of power. There is no point of moving it in any other direction (to advance) since the timing will move to a direction 'randomly' once it's been used.
